This Flag

She calls forth cheers, sometimes jeers;
Calls forth hope; even lessens fears;
Calls us to laugh, and oft to maybe cry.
Old Glory fly! Fly! Fly! Yes, forever fly!

She flaps, snaps, claps and softly waves
O'er our homes, even o'er our graves.
She calls to both the weak and strong.
Stands for right amidst any wrong.

Symbol of a Nation brave and still free.
She flies proudly for the world to see.
Ever so grand; Ever so faithfully true,
This great flag-of red, white and blue.
