"The greater the work the more
important it is to establish it on
a solid foundation. Thus it will
not only be more perfect; it
will also be more lasting.”

Remembering Sister Blandina Segale

On Feb. 23, 1941, Servant of God, Sister Blandina Segale, went home to her God, just one month after celebrating her 91st birthday. As we remember S. Blandina, we remember her passion for the poor, children, immigrants, and the disenfranchised. Her heroics are to be celebrated in a feature film, “At the End of the Santa Fe Trail.” Producers are filming new footage in the months to come and hope to release the film on Dec. 8, 2022, the 125th anniversary of Santa Maria Community Services. To view the trailer, see below. For more information on S.
