"The greater the work the more
important it is to establish it on
a solid foundation. Thus it will
not only be more perfect; it
will also be more lasting.”

St. Louise de Marillac

“Be diligent in serving
the poor. Love the poor,
honor them, my children,
as you would honor
Christ Himself.”

St. Louise de Marillac

Closing the Gap – Your Role in Combating Food Waste and Hunger

On Sunday, Feb. 4, Sisters, Associates, and community members attended a speaker event hosted by the Poverty, Homelessness, and Food Insecurity Justice Circle. Speakers Tony Staubach from Hamilton County Resources and Eileen Budo from Last Mile Food Rescue shared insights on how to individually reduce food waste as well as how organizations and individuals can be part of the effort to reduce food insecurity in our local community.
