"The greater the work the more
important it is to establish it on
a solid foundation. Thus it will
not only be more perfect; it
will also be more lasting.”

St. Louise de Marillac

“Be diligent in serving
the poor. Love the poor,
honor them, my children,
as you would honor
Christ Himself.”

St. Louise de Marillac

Changing Lives

On Monday, June 3, the Sisters of Charity hosted Ginny Wiltse and Brother Edwin Joseph from Caring Response Madagascar Foundation (CRMF) for a celebration of gratitude. Following Mass in the Motherhouse chapel, Sisters gathered in the Cedars Auditorium for a reception and to hear Ginny and Brother Edwin speak about how the SC Community’s involvement has empowered lives and created healthier communities in Madagascar, one of the world’s poorest and least developed nations. Throughout the years the Sisters of Charity have been strong supporters of the organization whose programs support education and literacy, sanitation and hygiene, health care, and economic self-development.
