important it is to establish it on
a solid foundation. Thus it will
not only be more perfect; it
will also be more lasting.”

“Be diligent in serving
the poor. Love the poor,
honor them, my children,
as you would honor
Christ Himself.”

Just Earth Visits Motherhouse

On Tuesday, July 9, Mark Shannon from Just Earth – Cincinnati visited the Motherhouse and Mother Margaret Hall for Sisters, Associates and employees to decorate colorful ribbons. Those participating answered the question, “What do you love in nature and hope to never lose to climate change?” The ribbons will be displayed at an upcoming community musical event in Burnet Woods on Wednesday, July 10 and will be attached to ceremonial banners/poles that will circle the venue. The intent is to call attention to the climate crisis and to invite participants to join in conversations and actions in defense of nature. The project is sponsored by Third Act and the local Just Earth – Cincinnati group.
