Directions

From North:
Take I-75 south to Freeman Ave. Exit #1F.
Follow signs to US 50 West (River Road).
Take River Road Exit.
Take River Road (US 50 West) to Fairbanks and turn right.
Bear to left as Fairbanks turns into Delhi Rd.
Proceed 3 miles to the Motherhouse, continue past Mount St. Joseph University on left to the end of Delhi Road.
Go past Bender Rd (“T” intersection at Delhi Rd.), enter the Sister of Charity gates on the right and go down the avenue and park on the left. Enter the Main Door, which has an electronic eye.

From South:
Take I-75 north across the Ohio River on the Brent Spence Bridge.  Stay in second lane from the left while on the bridge.
Take the second exit to the right from that lane, following signs to US 50 West (River Road).
This wraps around sharply to the left and becomes US 50 West.
Take River Road (US 50 West) to Fairbanks Road and turn right.
Bear to left as Fairbanks turns into Delhi Road.
Proceed 3 miles to the Motherhouse, continue past Mount St. Joseph University on left to the end of Delhi Road.

From East:
Follow Columbia Pkwy West to downtown Cincinnati.
Follow signs to US 50 West (River Road).
Take River Road to Fairbanks and turn right.
Bear to left as Fairbanks turns into Delhi Road.
Proceed 3 miles to the campus. Continue past Mt. St. Joseph University on left to the end of Delhi Road.
Cross over Bender Road, enter the Sisters of Charity gates on the right and proceed down the avenue; park on the left. Enter the Main Door which has an electronic eye.

From West:
Take I-74 East to Exit #5, I-275 South. Follow I-275 South to Exit #21 (Kilby Road). Turn right and follow to US 50. Turn left (east on US 50/River Road) and follow to Bender Road. Turn left onto Bender Road and follow to Delhi Road. At the top of Bender Road, turn right. Enter the Sisters of Charity gates on the right and proceed down the avenue; park on the left. Enter the Main Door which has an electronic eye.

Note: Some GPS software will provide erroneous directions with the address above and you may end up viewing parts of Cincinnati few have seen. If you use a GPS, you may wish to use the address for Mt. St. Joseph University, 5701 Delhi Road, Cincinnati, OH 45233 instead. Then continue on Delhi Road past Mt. St. Joseph University on your left to the end of Delhi Road. You will pass Bender Road on your right.

Directed Spirituality Retreats

S. Judith Bonini, IHM, has been involved in retreat/spiritual direction for more than 20 years. Presently she is pastoral services director at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Motherhouse in Monroe, Michigan. Her deep love is spiritual direction and retreat ministry. S. Judith invites the person to name God’s invitation, to reverence and to respond to this mystery as it unfolds in one’s life experiences.

S. Maureen Heverin, SC, received formal training in spiritual direction at the Jesuit Renewal Center in Milford, Ohio, in 1990. Her ministry experience includes elementary and adult education, social service work, spiritual formation, and leadership in the Sisters of Charity. Presently, S. Maureen’s ministry in the Spirituality Center includes spiritual direction, directing retreats and facilitating various spiritual programs.

S. Mary Ann Humbert, SC, participated in the summer Institute in Spiritual Direction out of Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois, and studied in the Christian Spirituality program at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her internship in retreat and spiritual direction at Milford Spiritual Center where she subsequently worked as part of the internship training team. She has conducted prayer classes, retreat opportunities and adult educational sessions for men and women from diverse religious traditions. She is trained in bio-spirituality and focusing and has been journeying with others as a spiritual director since 1973.

S. Marie Vincentia Roney

Sister Marie Vincentia Roney died June 1, 2023 at the age of  90 in Mother Margaret Hall, the nursing facility for the Sisters of Charity, Cincinnati, Ohio. Sister Marie Vincentia was born on July 8, 1932 to Edward M. and Josephine (Lerch) Roney in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was one of 13 children, six girls and seven boys. She was a Sister of Charity for 71 years. READ MORE.
